A place of writing and reflection…

Be Here Now

I found this video through a book I was reading titled “Untitled: Thoughts on the Creative Process” by Blaine Hogan. In the book, Blaine, has compiled years of reflections on the creative process and on his work as the creative director at Willow Creek Community Church. He pushes the idea that we, as creative people, should strive to do our best work. In the midst of that, Blaine links to this video titled “Be Here Now”. In it he illustrates the importance of “being still and know”.

I hope this work impacts you as well.

I also highly recommend his book as well. Find your copy here.

In Mosul, ISIS militants marked with a spray-painted ن (the Arabic letter for “N”) all Christian property to be seized after the ultimatum. “N”, or ن, is the first letter of the Arabic word for Christian, “Nasrani” or Nazarene. #pray4thepersecuted
