A place of writing and reflection…

Built Together Part 1

A friend of mine posted this video from Hillsong Church on the Church as a home. They go through all the various happenings of a home, the journey to it, the togetherness of it’s construction as a whole, and how it reflects on the church—not just their own local building, but the entire church body scattered across the globe. If you have ever heard “home is where the heart is” this is what they meant.

It ‘s a bit lengthy, but it is well worth the time to watch. May you take from it what the real unity of the church should be and not the dogmatic disputes about doctrine and methods. Let God show show you what He means by the word ‘unity‘.

In Mosul, ISIS militants marked with a spray-painted ن (the Arabic letter for “N”) all Christian property to be seized after the ultimatum. “N”, or ن, is the first letter of the Arabic word for Christian, “Nasrani” or Nazarene. #pray4thepersecuted
