The Faithbook

A place of writing and reflection…

Thought for the Day:

verse“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

—2 Chronicles 7:14

Question… If we as “Evangelical Christians” select a President who claims to be one of God’s people, but who does not humble himself (who says he doesn’t need to ask God for forgiveness); a President of whom we cannot be sure prays and seeks God’s face; and a President who refuses to turn from his wicked ways, how can we expect God to hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land?

In Mosul, ISIS militants marked with a spray-painted ن (the Arabic letter for “N”) all Christian property to be seized after the ultimatum. “N”, or ن , is the first letter of the Arabic word for Christian, “Nasrani” or Nazarene. #pray4thepersecuted
